Downloading the Gimp- Part 2

If you've watched the video tutorial, you can skip this part 2 and go straight to the next tutorial...Running the GIMP.

9) After downloading all the files, then you will need to Un-Zip the files.

To this, go to your desktop and find the folder

Double click this zipped folder. And click Extract All Files...

Then when the Extract Wizard pops up, click Next and then Next again. Then click Finish.

10) Now double click the extracted set-up file...

then choose Run...

11) When the GTK Setup box pops up...click Next...

Follow the directions for the rest of the set up.

12) Go back and repeat the steps 9 - 11 for the folder

This will install the Gimp program. You might have another version, but the instructions are the same.

13) Repeat the process if you download the help files and the animation package.

14) Congratulations! You have now installed GIMP on your computer. And all the effort it will be well worth it.
